The Waypoint 400 delivers an incredibly powerful beam, thanks to a high-quality reflector that arguably offers the best beam pattern on the market. Focused, powerful, and efficient, it is ideal for nighttime searches for objects or people at sea or outdoors, boasting a maximum range of 1,265 meters.
The Streamlight Waypoint 400 spotlight features robust construction and excellent ergonomics. The bezel surrounding the light head is molded from a soft polymer designed to cushion against potential impacts. High-quality plastics ensure resistance to UV rays and saltwater over time. The unit is buoyant should it fall into the water—a useful feature, even though it comes equipped with an adjustable wrist lanyard.
The Waypoint 400 offers three operating modes: maximum power (1,400 lumens, 1,265m range, 3h 15m runtime); medium power (600 lumens, 812m range, 7h 30m runtime); and a 38-lumen peripheral lighting mode. This last mode can be used with the integrated articulating stand to illuminate a hold or compartment during stationary work.
